Our Mission

Interdisciplinary Research at the Nexus of Critical Systems

The WE3 Lab (Water, Energy, and Environmental Engineering) advances foundational and applied research to understand, monitor, and optimize complex environmental systems. We combine field measurements, computational modeling, and machine learning to generate actionable insights for engineers, policymakers, and communities.

Our work spans three tightly connected domains — sustainable energy systems, environmental sensing and monitoring, and smart infrastructure — united by a commitment to open science and equitable outcomes.
